Review of Chainsaw Man, By Jonah Stamps Story      The story of chainsaw man follows a teenage boy named Denji. Denji live in a world where things called devils torment the world. Devils are evil beings that have special powers, and spoiler alert, they hate humans. When Denji was a little kid, he met a devil named Pochita who looks like a cute dog with a chainsaw in its head. Denji and Pochita form a close bond because they must rely on each other to survive. One day, Denji is attacked by a devil, and Pochita takes the place of Denji's heart, and is now a part of him. Denji has a string on his chest, that when pulled, he becomes the chainsaw man (Picture below). Denji goes on many adventures and meets a lot of new people. He also fights and kills many other evil devils.  Review I love this series. The main thing I love is the story of this manga. The graphics are amazing too, there is so much detail in the images on paper. There are so many twists and turns in ...

The sky above us

The sky above us Sahnan Haber The sky above us, by Natalie Lund is a fiction novel set in the present. It tells the story of 6 high school juniors who witness their friends die in a plane crash. The book starts out at the senior party at the end of the school year on the beach of the island they live on. After partying, and eventually falling asleep, they wake up a few hours later to a loud sound and see a plane slowly falling into the water. They start to suspect that 3 of their friends Nate, Shane and Israel, who had left the party earlier were the ones in the plane. After this point, the book is told jumping between characters, and before and after the crash. The reader is able to see how the three got themselves into the c rash, and how the others investigated it. What I liked I really liked how the book jumps between before and after the accident so you can see multiple points of view at the same time. Something else I liked about this book that was unlike any of the others...

Now before I get into this whole argument, I'm going to give a summary of the plot for each book so that way you can decide whether you would like to read one or the other.      Ready Player One,  has this scavenger hunt for the three keys that the players called gunters have to find. To give more information, IOI is a company owned by James Halliday who has created virtual reality goggles (similar to the ones that we have today) that allows players to socialize, play, and more with other players that have logged into their virtual reality goggles. Because Ready Player One was set to 2045, almost everyone in the world owns these pairs of goggles, allowing everyone to be in the virtual reality world most of the time. Back to the scavenger hunt, James Halliday set a video to play to the OASIS (Ontologically Anthropocentric Sensory Immersive Simulation, or described as a massive multiplayer online simulation game) the moment that he passed away. In the video, he a...
