 Summary

Invincible tells a story of a teenage man named Markus. Markus is like any other teenage boy, except his dad is the most powerful superhero on the planet. The book starts out with Markus suddenly acquiring his super powers similar to his fathers. Markus' dream has always to be a superhero just like his father, so now that he has power he can fulfill his dream. Markus soon joins a superhero team called teen team, made up of all teenagers. Markus gets ready to fight his first mystery, someone who has been strapping bombs on people chests. Markus eventually finds out who has been committing the crimes and he apprehends them. Then suddenly, the guardians of the globe (The most powerful superhero team there is) suddenly go missing and Markus' dad was the only one who didn't die as he never went to the meeting, which is where the died at. I won't go any further in this summary as I don't want to spoil the book for you.

Review
This book is an amazing book. The art is incredible, the story is awesome, and the characters are made in a way that you feel like to know them. It is however a little bloody, so if blood makes you uncomfortable then I would not recommend this book. One thing I like about this book is that the story is not like any story I have seen so far. It is unique in how it is about a superhero, but he is also a teenager and does things any teenager would do. I find it relatable because Markus, not only does he have to deal with monsters, he also has to deal with homework and waking up early. The characters are loveable and kind. Overall I would give this book a 8.5 out of 10.

  1. Nice review! I like how it is formatted with the title, summary, review, and picture of the book. I think your review gave a good idea of who would like this story. You show what the book has to offer with it's superheroes and action, but also with its relatable characters that deal with the same things we do. You also mention the bloodiness which could be a big turn off for some.

  2. Wow, I never knew that their were books to this. I always thought that it was just the Amazon Prime TV show. I like how you formatted this, as well as tied it off with an actual grade. The thing that I disagree with is that I have seen some of the shows, and it's not just a little bloody it's really bloody. Maybe the book is less gory?
