Summary
Imagine that one day, you watch the news and see a child who was born who was bioluminescent. Then you begin hearing reports of kids with extraordinary powers, which are called quirks, begin appearing all around the world. Well, if this seems cool, then you should read My Hero Academia. The main character's name is Deku, who was unfortunately born into a world without a quirk, which is extremely rare at that time. It was always his dream to be a hero, which has become a very popular job, as many people use their powers to do bad things. He was absolutely crushed when he found out he was quirkless, but one day, he meets the strongest hero, All Might. All Might decides to give Deku his quirk, as he sees potential in Deku. Deku then becomes a very powerful hero, and as he is doing good things and saving people, he must fight many powerful villains in order to survive.
Review
I really like this series. It tells a tale of a kid who is forced to grow up around kids who are WAY cooler than him. He grows up throughout the series and matures a lot, and because he was given his quirk, he must get used to it. As he grows, he gets more comfortable with his quirk and uses it a lot to save the day. I love this series so much, but I only give it a 4/5, only because of the Anime fandom. I know I shouldn't judge a book by its fans, but the fans of the series are gross, horrible human beings. If you do some research, you will know why I call them horrible.
P.S. Sorry there isn't a picture of the book, blogger.com wasn't working right
Good review, Jonah! I liked how you organized the information. Really made it easier to digest and understand.
